Print Design:
Print Design Process See web process
As with our web design process, our number one goal is to work with the client to establish a clear definition of the project scope and the desired outcome for the printed pieces. However, there are several things that people should consider when embarking on printing projects. When printing, the client needs to consider the time needed for design, comps and approvals, printing, drying, cutting and shipping. Because print is expensive and permanent, deposits may be required before various stages of the project are executed, and last minute changes are discouraged and billed for. Also, without exception, the client must provide a final signoff before any piece goes to the press.

In our project evaluation period with the client, we review the following details in great depth:
  • Overall goals of the printed pieces
  • Target Audience
  • Artwork requirements: photoshoots and licensing
  • Ideas for look and feel
  • Copy writing and content
  • Budget and Timeline
  • Client Participation and Resources
Once this discovery is complete, we follow our step-by-step comp to approval process to completion, which we feel, helps to minimize anxiety.
